Here are some helpful tips so that you can make sure that your pool is ready for use during the summer.
The weather is warming up and there’s no doubt that you’re eager to peel the cover off your pool and take a dip in the water. When the time comes, the following pool prep tips will help you get your pool ready for a summer of fun:
- Skim the waves and remove all debris. You’ll also want to vacuum the bottom to pick up debris that’s settled.
- Adjust the water level. Fill it up and be sure that everything is still sealed and that pumps, drains, lights, etc are all working properly.
- Prep the filter. lean it out and make sure that the lines are properly connected and sealed. After 24 hours, test the water and adjust chemical levels accordingly.
- Bring it to life. Re-install diving boards, handrails, deck furniture, etc. Your pool is now ready for you to take a swim, so call your friends up and schedule the season’s first pool party.
