Exposed aggregate is a decorative concrete material that blends the durability of concrete with the natural elegance of stone. This combination of beauty and durability makes exposed aggregate concrete a popular choice for pool decks, driveways, walkways and patios in the New England area.
What is Exposed Aggregate?
Exposed aggregate is a poured-in-place concrete that has natural stones hand-seeded into the top surface. Once the concrete begins to setup, the top surface is gently washed to remove the concrete cream and expose the stones seeded just below the top surface.
Exposed Aggregate Colors
Triad Associates has created over 50 color variations of exposed aggregate concrete by mixing different concrete dyes with combinations of natural stones. Triad provides the choice of rounded river stones along with chipped stones such as granite or marble.
